Jumbo Burgers
Located at 12600 S 2842 W in Riverton is Jumbo Burgers. They just opened the 18th of November and seem to be doing very well. Located in the shadow of Riverton High School, the interior decor is themed with Riverton H.S. memorabilia. They have a large menu of hamburgers and greek food. I asked for the house special which they explained was a triple cheeseburger combo. Because I’m not a huge fan of triples, I went with a basic cheeseburger combo. The burger and fries were good. Their fry sauce had a unique flavor unlike anything that I had tried before. I liked it. If you’re in the Riverton area, be sure to give them a try. Overpriced, mediocre food at best, and a manager more suited for being a prison guard. Maybe Apollo burger can use the space after this failure ends.
After working late one night, I thought I would stop by Jumbo burger (which recently opened). Tired and just wanting something to take home to eat, I went through the drive through. It took me 30 minutes to get to where I could place my order (I would of left if I could of backed up), then another 20 minutes to get to the window. When I got to the window the girl said she hadn’t taken my order and didn’t know what it was. I asked to talk to the manager. She informed me he was busy, but I insisted…. she then went and talked to some guy (I won’t say gentleman), and then came back and said he was too busy to talk to me. I insisted again and she once again talked to the a%^ whom refused to talk to me. I left without my food. It is pretty poor when the manager can’t/won’t take the time to talk to a customer. I will never go back to Jumbo Burger again and will express my feelings to everyone I know. Poor business.. hope they fail soon so that someone with the customer in mind will take over.
Our family just ate there. We loved it. The fries were really good. Nice and crispy. The burgers were tasty. I think they put oregano on it. The gyro was pretty big, with lots of sauce. They even gave us Free Ice Cream (Ice Milk) for dessert.
